Here's How You Can Stop Being Dependent On Art Reference apps For Painting Idea !

This blog is for those hobby artists who need a head start in the process of idea generation before painting. As you've chose to read this blog, then we have a thing in common. At times we want to create some artwork, but struggle about what to create exactly which will be unique, creative and enjoyable throughout the process as well! And after some thinking we have had a point where we reached out to an inspiration source which ignited some ideas for our visual expression. But have you thought that the inspiration we look on a platform was an unique idea by someone before? What If, I tell that you, yourself can be a source of ideas for creating your own original artworks and inspire others? Here's how-

*Explore and Observe colors around you than looking for Color palettes: Remember the picture that you clicked, when you felt the sunset/sunrise sky, clouds were looking so beautiful! Then take those and try to remember of which season it is and start painting a theme art using just hues, chromes you see in them. Believe, nature has better color sense than us! OR If you are into digital art, you can even drop down those cloud pictures and doodle some characters on it which you see in those clouds.

*Don't search material for your Art, but search Art in material available with you: Whenever you look for an art idea, which has used a specific material for it, understand some artworks are commissioned by clients and then posted for promotion purposes. We as a hobby artist should focus more on creating our own Art with available papers/ paints with us (am not at all against buying the products) but unavailability of material shouldn't keep you from creating any art is what I mean. If you go to buy expensive materials (e.g.. stretched canvas board, some rare pigment etc.) to just fulfil the visual quality and match it to your inspirational art, then stop! Art should not be about expensive materials (unless its really a need for your work). Your art would still shine.

*Ride down through your memory lane: Often in our leisure times we go back to visit our old drawing files and think... "Damn, I was so good!" Or we even remember a specific style of any artists (not necessarily famous) and even recall best paintings in some art galleries we randomly once trespassed... Trust me they can be truly inspiring for our present contemporary art. Our tender minds using oil pastels, sketch pens, color pencils all at once in one drawing without even knowing the concept 'Mix Media' could be an art style for a young mind to develop. Think and conceptualize a theme and then visualize those concepts. Think like a painting child with given most random topic ever! e.g. Dream.

Remember not every artwork is for social media. Do it for your relief, to express, to vent it out, or just to pass your time... Also understand that there's a thin line between an inspiration and a copy. Plagiarism- The act of copying another person's ideas, words or work and pretending they are your own; something that has been copied. (Definition source is Internet). It is although not illegal/ crime but is ethically wrong and is still considered a copyright violation. However, the amount that was copied probably will have a bearing of the punishment. Try that your art should be a place built by solely you and not just a recreated version of others.
