Just one boring day, with my friends I decided to wander around Panshet backwaters (Pune). After we passed some time, while returning we found a hill which stated ' Neelkantheshwar ' we didn't knew there was such a place up there. In that one impulse moment we all started to climb that hill which had 45° angle of elevation till some height and then 1000 or so stairs till the top. We were shocked when we finally reached. View of Panshet Dam from up was so beautiful to believe. It is said that this temple is from Mahabharata era and co-existed along with the 'Bhuleshwar' temple which was build by the Pandavas when they were hiding in centuries-old Baneshwar (todays Baner) cave (Pune). There are also traces of Pandavas visiting the Neelkantheshwar Temple.     Neelkantheshwar temple was built by Sarje Mama, Once he came near this mountain and fell asleep. In his dream, Lord Shiva called him and asked for water from Panshet Lake. Sarje Mama checked this place after wa...

The term 'Multi-Hyphenate ' now a days used by Millennials and Gen Z, is for someone, who is skilled in several skills, person of multiple talents. One artist whose name immediately comes to mind is the late Dadasaheb Phalke. He was skilled in Painting, Sculpture and Music. He wrote, directed, produced and edited his own films. He sold all his assets to produce India's first ever Feature Film 'Raja Harishchandra' which was a silent film in 1913.     Although some people consider Dadasaheb Torne's silent film 'Shree Pundalik' (1912) as first ever Feature Film, but although It was produced by Dadasaheb Torne, A British Cinematographer shot it. The film was only 22 mins long and it was a Play/ Drama that was being shot, so due to these reasons, It is not considered as first feature film.  In an era where people were only used to Print Media like books, newspaper as it was British Raj back then, introducing people with a moving imagery kept them captiva...

Today, through skill learning of A.I. tools and how algorithm works, people create artworks quickly, easily and at low cost, but still Artists need not feel threatened as one of the primary criticisms is that A.I. -generated artworks lacks the human touch and emotional depth that is clearly seen in comparison with a traditional artwork. Although A.I. can replicate certain styles or techniques, it struggles to capture the essence of human creativity and imagination. According to ChatGPT, “Art is the creative expression of ideas, emotions, and stories through various mediums such as painting, writing, music, and more.” But an Artist thinks it as a way of living... personal discipline, self-discovery, and life e...
